Palanivel sedia ganti Samy Vellu

HULU SELANGOR 25 April - Timbalan Presiden MIC, Datuk G. Palanivel berkata, beliau bersedia mengambil alih tampuk kepimpinan parti itu, bagaimanapun ia terpulang kepada Presiden, Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu untuk memberi laluan kepadanya. Palanivel berkata, beliau tidak boleh membuat sebarang keputusan mengenai perkara itu sebaliknya hanya Samy Vellu berhak berbuat demikian. ''Saya sentiasa bersedia tetapi hanya Presiden parti boleh membuat keputusan mengenainya," katanya kepada pemberita selepas pengumuman keputusan Pilihan Raya Kecil Parlimen Hulu Selangor di Dewan Serbaguna, Kompleks Sukan Kuala Kubu Bahru di sini hari ini. Pilihan raya kecil itu dimenangi oleh calon Barisan Nasional (BN), P. Kamalanathan yang mengalahkan calon Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), Datuk Zaid Ibrahim dengan majoriti 1,725 undi. Sementara itu, Samy Vellu ketika ditemui enggan menyatakan bila beliau mahu meletakkan jawatan sebagai Presiden MIC. ''Ini bukan masa yang sesuai untuk bercakap mengenai perkara itu," katanya.

Not Palani, Not Mugilan but Kamalanathan

Finally, UMNO controlled BN agreed with DSSV alternative suggestion to field party information chief Kamalanathan as a compromised candidate. Officially the BN candidate was endorsed today; unfortunately the unilateral decision by DSSV was against the endorsement and decision made by MIC CWC emergency meeting yesterday night. This has created the dissatisfactions among the cwc members and even Palani’s supporters. They assume DSSV has betrayed the collective decision made by the CWC emergency meeting for his personnel political carrer. What ever the damage has been done and by now many die hard supporters of Palani and even Mugilans have decided to vote against the compromised candidate. The important issue to analyst is what the next are for DSSV and MIC. DSSV have to set the date for his retirement and party need the drastic changes to safeguard the political interest and dignity. More crisis are on trail to burst any time.........

Who Back Stab Palani?

Party President DSSV said MIC proposed Palani only for Hulu Selangor By-Election. What went wrong to the extent Palani was push to third runner up after MIC Information chief, P.Kamalanathan and Palani's own youth leader V.Mugilan? V.Mugilan Hulu Selangor MIC youth leader and National Deputy Youth Leader was said the front runner for the BN. He has full support from umno division....... the important question who back stab Palani. Analysis put to you few choices such as Samy Vellu, V.Mugilan or is there any third force who emerge to deny Palani's candidacy?
